A reliable house maid keeps your entire home running smoothly. HomeStaff house maids handle all core household duties: sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, dusting furniture and surfaces, washing and ironing laundry, cleaning and storing dishes, making beds, tidying rooms, and organising kitchens, cupboards and wardrobes. Many can also assist with basic cooking, grocery runs and childcare support. A great maid is honest, punctual, hardworking and discreet — someone you can trust with your home and belongings even when you are away. Every HomeStaff maid is selected for exactly these qualities, with verified work history and real references from previous families.

What Our House Maids Do
Our house maids work with families across Islamabad and Rawalpindi in full-time, part-time and live-in arrangements. On a typical day a maid will reset the kitchen after breakfast, deep-clean one or two rooms, launder the family’s clothes, and prepare the home for the evening. Live-in maids additionally manage early-morning routines and late-evening tidying. We match each maid’s experience to your household size — a small apartment needs a different skill set than a multi-storey family home with pets and elderly parents.

How We Verify
Every house maid on our roster clears a five-step process before meeting any family: a computerised national identity check, a police clearance certificate, a face-to-face interview at our Islamabad office, verification of at least two previous employers, and a practical skills assessment covering cleaning technique, laundry care and kitchen hygiene. Candidates who pass then complete a free trial day at your home so you can judge the fit yourself. If anything feels wrong, our 24-hour replacement guarantee sends a new candidate the next working day.

FAQs
Can the maid also cook for the family?
Many of our maids have basic-to-good cooking skills. Tell us your cuisine preferences at the time of booking and we will shortlist maids who can cook Pakistani home food alongside their cleaning duties.
What if the maid takes leave or leaves suddenly?
Our 24-hour replacement guarantee covers unexpected departures. We send a substitute the same week and a permanent replacement within a day of your request.
Do you check the maid’s previous employers?
Yes. We speak to at least two previous employers by phone before a maid is shortlisted, and we keep the reference notes on file for you to review.
Is a live-in maid more expensive?
Live-in arrangements usually save money compared with two daily shifts, because boarding and meals are provided. Salaries start around PKR 40,000 with boarding.
How quickly can a maid start?
For most areas of Islamabad and Rawalpindi we can arrange interviews within 48 hours and a start date within 3–5 days.
